Verify from know users that they actually sent the email. 4) don't use public wifi for financial transactions; even if the wifi is secured by password avoid financial transactions 5) keep the operating system on all devices current 6) install programs only from the defined app store for the device 7) use a modern internet browser and consider using an add blocker browser 8) use antivirus software and keep it updated 9) enable your OS's built in firewall
