There have been a few times I wanted to cancel the post I was attempting to write within a current thread, but have not seen how to do this, so I have simply closed the tab on Firefox which then closes my connection to PSE & More.
I just tried looking in the FAQ's page but did not finding anything related to this question.....
Thank you

Just click on the little gear icon in the top right corner of your post and select "Delete Post".
See the Help file -- Modifying and Deleting Your Posts.
NOTE: This information applies only to deleting a post you created within your own thread or within another member's thread. You cannot delete a thread you created. You need to contact one of the Administrators/Moderators to do it for you.

I may not be understanding your question correctly, but if you have not clicked the Create Post button I think all you need to do is click the back button in your browser.

Thank you Sepiana. I was aware a user cannot delete a thread. I believe that is true in any forum.

I just tried the back button and it does work as you suggested!
