Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in this challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.

This has to be the most unusual "D" to be featured in this week's theme - a Dinosaur which lives in Crystal Palace Park in south London. He is only one of quite a few specimens scattered around the lake there. Some of them were encased in scaffolding for renovation, so this seemed the fiercest of those left.

Fierce? No, just darn cute. What a nice addition to the park that must be.

D is for Daylight streaming through the trees........ Yes I know what you are all thinking that that's a rather tenuous link to the theme, but it's all I could come up with!!!!

D for Deserted. Beautiful day for a walk on the beach although with lake levels high and some wild storms this year there's a lot less beach than usual. A very clear day - you could see for miles and not a soul in sight. Just a flock of Tundra Swans on their migration south. Very late to be seeing them still here - I guess they know about El Niño! The contrast between the sand and the water is really fantastic. I love outdoor photos.

This afternoon I drove by this little house, which is being rehabbed. I thought . . . D is for Doors, which are Disabled and Distorted. I wonder what is holding them up.

Dennis – Great finding (and great eyes)! I really like your interpretation.
Jackie – Daisies! Beautiful interpretation of this theme.
Brenda – I can always count on you for surprises. This is such an unusual interpretation of this theme. (And he looks Dangerous too!)
whippet – Great interpretation! Very clever!
Phil – I love your entry. I see nothing tenuous about it. This is called "Thinking out of the box".
Tony – What a beautiful scene! Those leading lines towards the horizon are calling me to take a long walk on that beach.

Sepiana - looks like your little house was in a flood. Those doors look like they have water stains. I'm betting that's why they warped. It's nice to know someone cares enough to rehab the place. If it's Chicago, that's probably affordable housing - and it probably cost them $500,000. LOL

Janice, I believe you are correct. Those look like water stains. It's a great rehabbing job they are doing; they are bringing out all the old brickwork.

Bill, Portland's rainiest day ever? Depressing! Glad you captured it for posterity and did a wonderful job in the process.
