The design of this page really works for a portrait. The placement of the photo where the girl is looking off the page would never let me put her to the left, but I'm so wrong about that. It looks perfect.
Excellent blending. Beautiful layout.

Janice I know there is an unwritten rule about the placement of photos where the person is looking off the page but I thought I could get away with it in this case as although the girl is facing to the left the incline of her head and the direction of her gaze is more towards the centre of the page.

Now that you mention the tilt of the head, you are even more right. (I know, not exactly grammatically correct, but you get the drift) You have an excellent eye for placement.
