Hello PSE&M members!
When we asked you for your feedback on our forum and how it could be improved, what we heard most was your heartfelt appreciation for our new home. For that we are deeply grateful and humbled.
Everyone has their own take on what is most valuable here, but for me it is the various challenges. They are offered at regular intervals in bite-sized chunks so I never feel overwhelmed and learn new skills on a regular basis.
The reason I am sharing this with you is that we can really use some volunteers to host the Creative Effects Challenge. I know how difficult it is to volunteer for something like this, but one detail that may help is that the challenge is posted every other week, and the more people the less work there is for everyone!
The 3 people who have been hosting this challenge had never done anything like this prior to getting this forum up and running, but we seem to be managing OK. However, one member has had to withdraw, and so we really need you to seriously consider joining the Creative Effects Challenge team! Rest assured that you will be given the great support that is the hallmark of our forum, including suggestions for challenges you might wish to host.

- In the Weekly Photo Challenge I am asked to get out and capture an image that expresses a theme, as I interpret it.
- In the Endless Possibilities Challenge I am given an image to process according to my own lights, to make it my own.
- In the Creative Effects Challenge a tutorial is offered that exposes me to unfamiliar tools in Elements and new approaches to processing an image.
