So I recently upgraded to 14 (from 11) only to find out that the Color Variations menu/tool is gone. Guess it left with 12 but I had no idea. I guess lots of folks were upset as well - but my question is - what is everyone using as an alternative? So far the other color corrections just aren't giving me the visual that the Color Variations did and it's taking me twice as long to get where I want to with my photos - especially doing some color correction on older scanned images.
Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? Hey, hi katmack ! Welcome the Photoshop Elements & More! I'm glad you found us and hope to see around. I never used Color Variations so I had to fire up v11 to find out what you are talking about. For now, one thing you can do is click into the Quick mode and go to Color; it looks to be a slightly simpler version of Color Variations. Let us know if you need more control than that. |

Thanks for the nice welcome - and the suggestions! I have some photo work to do over the holiday so I'll give these a try! I get that Adobe needs to make changes to keep us coming back for more - but it sure makes it hard on us!  |
