Hi everyone
I've just discovered that, when using PSE v14, the keyboard shortcuts are not working properly with the Transform Tool. I've just tried v12 and v13 and they both work fine using the keyboard shortcuts but, going back to try again in v14, they don't work properly. The main culprit is the Ctrl+Shift+Alt shortcut to change perspective.
Has anyone else found this in v14? Does anyone know of any reason, ie Adobe changing something in v14? Would anyone happen to know why it's happening and what I can do about it, please?
BTW, I'm running Win 10 on PC. I'll have to try it on my laptop... Yes, v14 is behaving exactly the same on my laptop too.
Many thanks for any help Julie

Hi
Shortcuts I use are -
To Distort - Hold Ctrl while dragging a corner (you'll notice the cursor changes to a solid, pointed triangle for these) To Skew - Alt+Ctrl Alter perspective - Ctrl+Alt+Shift which should let you enlarge one side/end or make it smaller when dragged in either direction
Thanks for trying Julie

Julie -
They all seem to work for me.
Have you tried the simple things, like restarting the program? i notice that sometimes, for no apparent reason, keyboard shortcuts don't seem to work. Re-starting seems to help. I'm on WIn7.

Julie, I have Elements 14 installed on two computers (Windows 7 and Windows 8.1). I don't have the problem you are talking about.
You could try deleting the Preferences file to see if this "misbehavior" goes away. Here is something else that might do the trick. Launch Elements as an administrator by right-clicking on the shortcut and selecting "Run as administrator". Then, try these commands. If they are working fine, close Elements and open it again but this time do it as a standard user. I don't know why but this seems to fix these little glitches which pop up.

Hi
I've just completed the suggestions given by Sepiana, fired up again and it's still the same. I think I'll try to get in touch with Adobe and see what they have to suggest. I'll post back
