Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE:
I thought we would do something a bit different to begin the New Year. I am assigning no theme this week. It is your turn! Pick a theme which appeals to you, grab your camera, and capture something which will be an interpretation of the theme you chose. Just follow the rules delineated above. Also, let us know what your theme is and how your image relates to it. Have fun!

Hi Everyone....as I understand this, you can all name your own theme....you don't have to do phone pix. Maybe Sepiana can clarify.

Helen, thanks for coming to the rescue! Yes, you are absolutely correct. NOTE:

I chose Poetry as my theme for this challenge. So, late this afternoon I went for a walk and . . . here is my interpretation of Robert Frost's The Road Not Taken. (For more fun, listen to the reading of this poem).

Fun stuff so far ... thanks for the freewheeling theme Sepiana! Since it's 2016, I figured I'd suck up to the new year and choose "16" as my theme. And then I realized I had no idea how to represent it. I could arrange 16 things and take the photo ... but that idea sounded boring, even by my standards. My office is across the street from a high school, so I could have pretty easily found a 16 year-old for a photo, but my healthy respect for our prison system made me think better of that idea. And then this morning it happened. ;-) Shot with my new Fuji X100T, this is straight out of the camera (minus a little vignette and the watermark.) I'm quickly falling in love with my new camera.

Helen - iPhone as your theme. Great thinking out of the box! Beautiful image! Jancy - I see your theme as Traffic/Morning Traffic. You captured one of Boston’s hallmarks. Great thinking!
Pat - You brought a breath of fresh air to your capture of Landscape with the portrait orientation. Well done!
Bill - Capturing Sixteen on a car was a much better idea. Also, it was a nice nod to the New Year. I love how sharp and detailed your image is.
Brenda - You never cease to surprise me! Very original theme selection and interpretation. "What is it?" Some kind of public art?
