There's a lot of energy generated around here. Wind, solar, oil and gas - so the first shot is a cogen plant that converts natural gas to electricity and steam for the local plants. The second shot is of a local chemical plant which uses the steam from the cogen plant to convert crude oil to polyethylene. The second was a three shot panorama with an HDR effect from ON1. Haven't quite figured out how the panorama managed to tilt some of the towers - they are all straight up[ in the original. Will have to investigate further! Tony

Dennis - You captured lots of energy! I found your image quite interesting. That tower reminds me of a gigantic metal outdoor sculpture. Great finding!
Tony - Quite a capture! This is a smorgasbord of energy. I really like the panorama version; it exudes energy from all angles.

A wind turbine should fulfill this week’s theme as it is supposed to convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power or electricity. I am not sure how energetic this device was today though. The weather forecast showed SSE 7 mph wind.

Didn't think I had anything for this week....then I looked and saw Sepiana's wind turbine and it made me think of the energy the ocean was displaying today!

Injection of Energy into weary walkers - the leader surprised everybody by producing home-made flapjacks at the water-stop.
They helped brighten a gloomy morning!
