Most of my layouts are pretty simple
Some interest has been added to this layout by adding another background paper at an angle and a couple of embellishments.
Realize that you can cut a background paper into another shape or merely move part of it off the page, like I did here. Like I mentioned before, I'm a tilter, so some items on this page are tilted - just because I like that look.
Dimension is added with Layer Styles - I'm heavy into soft edges created by adding the Layer Style called "glow" and using shadows and bevels. You can even outline a photo using Style. For more control of an outline (like the erasure you see on this layout) use Edit> Stroke and keep your stroke on it's own layer. You cannot erase part of your outline when you do it with Style.
