Hi I am wondering who would help me with a Government book that is all in PDF. There are forms in this book which I can print out & then write them all in longhand. My writing is now very bad and I would like to be able to fill out these forms on my computer and then Print them off . How can I do this ? I am not good at working in Word or some other file type like this. I am on Windows 7 The forms are concerning a Living Will/Advance Health Care Directive. Thank you. Storm

Hi Storm,
I believe (but may be wrong) that in order to create a fillable from from an exisiting PDF you will need to have the Pro version of Acrobat. Can you advise if you have this?

If you can see the text you've typed out on the pdf form you can then in printer properties see your preview you want to print, just be sure you have your printer selected to print.

Thank you all for trying to help me but I just cannot get it. I have 2 places that I can print from One is down the left side the other way is thro' IE. When I look in Print preview from IE it does not show the page no 30 that I have got it shows the cover of the book. There are times when I feel like crying & this is one of them . Thank you all for helping me . Storm

If it's not too personal is it possible for family or friends to help show you how its done, if you don't want them to know to much just put any any old text in the pdf.

Storm,
As you only want to print page 30 ensure that you tell the printer that you only want to print that page; so ensure you don't have "Print All" selected in your printer pop up.

No you are not being personal Jim trust me there is no one. I have family but no help. There are about 8 forms to fill out but until I can get this working I only type out page 31. Should I print thro IE or this print button on the left column .? Has anybody used this program? If I had an old fashioned typewriter this would have been finished weeks ago Storm

Storm - Once you have filled out your form, look at the left hand of the pdfescape screen, and you'll see some icons. Click on the one I've shown here: You'll then get a dialog box where have the opportunity to select which pages to print.

Would be possible for someone, a friend or relative not necessarily living close by, to help you by using TeamViewer? TeamViewer is a program that both parties have installed (free download) and connect so that your 'help' person can see your screen, and use mouse and keyboard even if required, to show you, or complete the form for you. You would need to be on the phone to each other at the time too, so you can talk.
I've used this method quite a lot to help sort out problems for friends, without having to go around to their house for whatever reason.
