Craig did exactly what you said but the printer does not Print. Right after I went & printed off a 4x6 no problem with the printer.
Sent an email this morning 8am way up to the Tar Sands in Alberta asking a friend for help Just got an answer back .....they work 12 hr shifts " The Canadian Government wants forms to be hand written so that they know its a real person ". There is no way you can convert them. That does not make sense when there is another line below for my Signature & date. Some of the Forms have to be signed in the presence of a Witness. I will Google but this time "Do Canadian Govt forms have to be Hand written. " If the answer is Yes then I can vent my anger at the Govt. Lot of good that will do . The vast majority of these particular forms are filled out by very elderly people whose penmanship is often very poor. I am sorry for wasting everyone's time including my own. Thank you again. Storm

Storm,
I live in Alberta, do you want to message me privately through this forum on what forms you have exactly and will try and find out if you have to hand write this particular one or if you can complete it electronically.

Awhile back I wanted to also convert a PDF form to Word, so I googled that, and I found this site: www.pdfonline.com/pdf-to-word-converter/This is an easy to use site. You first click on "UPLOAD A FILE TO CONVERT" That will bring up a new window that you use to FIND the PDF file on your computer, then you upload the file. The download time will vary depending on the size of your file. When the download is done, you will be given a new window. Look for the download button at top of page (it is kinda tiny) Crazy enough you then get a new download page (I don't understand why either ) At this point you can download it directly into word, or save the file to your computer. HTH

Would be possible for someone, a friend or relative not necessarily living close by, to help you by using TeamViewer? TeamViewer is a program that both parties have installed (free download) and connect so that your 'help' person can see your screen, and use mouse and keyboard even if required, to show you, or complete the form for you. You would need to be on the phone to each other at the time too, so you can talk. I've used this method quite a lot to help sort out problems for friends, without having to go around to their house for whatever reason. Julie I have and use TeamViewer and think it is wonderful! With my smart phone I can access my computer from anywhere to show other people files or pictures on my computer, or my son in law will sometimes help me with a computer problem I am having from 700 miles away!! Great program!!

I forgot to mention, the program that converts PDF to Word will also work in reverse!
There is a tab on the same page to convert Word to PDF.

You don't need a special program to convert a Word file to PDF. Word itself has this capability -- File>Save As>PDF.

You can also use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (download it.) Click the View menu, click Tools, click Fill & Sign.

Storm,
Assuming you are allowed to fill in those Government documents electronically, I believe using the new updated Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (as suggested by Moto) is your best option.
- Download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC -- get.adobe.com/reader/. Make sure to turn off those "Optional Offers" in the dialog box if you don't want or need them.
- Open the document in the Reader and go to Tools>Fill & Sign.
- Follow these instructions -- Fill and sign PDF forms.
EDIT: If you encounter problems with printing your document, you may want to check this. Troubleshoot PDF printing | Acrobat, Reader

Thank you thank you everybody that tried to help me. I followed Moto & Sepiana's advice & downloaded Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Have just printed off 2 pages with no problems. I don't know why I was having those troubles before with the other Converters. Something I was doing wrong as usual I am sure. Thanks again. Storm

Storm, so glad that you were able to print the info you needed. The help of our forum members combined with your refusal to be defeated has finally paid off! I'm happy for you.

I had no doubt you would succeed.
I can't take all the credit for solving the problem. Moto deserves most of it. He opened the door with his suggestion and I just followed him.
