Nice work, Jim! If you feel like it, it might be helpful to explain to members how you went about adding the light to the headlights.

Very interesting, Jim. What version PSE would you have used in 2001/2? I would be interested to know how you put the headlights in the image. A tutorial thingy would be excellent Thanks Julie

We moved home about 3 years ago just my luck to have misplace my stack of pse disc's, I think it was most likely pse 2 & if memory serves me right the disc came with a file of transparent images which is what i used as headlights.

Hi I've just found a tutorial for creating lights. Here is my car with lights. I've done this very quickly so it will need some refining, I think, but it's late here and so I'll try to improve on this tomorow Basically, on new layer, draw a circle with elliptical marquee tool (Shift+Drag to create proper circle) Fill with black Filter - Render - Lens Flare Keep at 100%, centre the glow Change mode to Screen Adjust Brightness via Levels (use Adjustment layer) Adjustment Layer if want to change colour/hue Duplicate Layer (Ctrl+J) and move duplicated layer to other light That's it in very basic steps. Apologies but written in much haste at 1am
