I don't really know which thread to put this in so if I have chosen the wrong one I'm sorry.

Some time ago I came across the video (linked below) by Woody Walters and was blown away by it. He and his wife have a whole YouTube Channel and the techniques they show for the way they work with brushes on photos was completely new to me.

This is my first effort based very loosely on the second video link. Lots of practice still needed!

It could easily be used for a magazine ad.

Getting the right brushes for this is a challenge and can make such a difference to the end result I think. That, and learning how to choose the colours.
