I am new to PSE 14 and need some basic help. I have a PSE 14 help book but can not find what I need. When I go into organizer I can find my folders on the left. I need to know how to create a new folder there so I can import photos into it. Thank you for your help and knowledge!! Jeffrey

Hi Jeffrey. You didn't say where you are importing your photos from. When you import photos from your camera, a new folder will be created for them; you don't have to do it as a separate step. If you give us a bit more information we can be more explicit about how to accomplish what you want.

I need to know how to create a new folder there so I can import photos into it. Thank you for your help and knowledge!! Jeffrey First, do you see the left folders/albums panel? If not, click on the left icon in the bottom bar. On the top of that space, you can choose to display either the folders or the albums. When you choose the 'folders', you have a small icon on the right of the title bar which can show you the way to display the folders: - the folder tree (general option) - the alphabetical list You can create new folders when importing, in the downloader dialog. It's generally easier and better to use the menu Edit >> preferences >> Files to state where you expect your downloaded files to go. Look at the downloader dialog. There is a very useful option which lets you create automatically a date based subfolders structure. From the Help menu (F1), first page, browse the section: 'Importing your media files...' And ask for more detailed answers.
