For the last week or so the Forum logs me out every time I close it, even if I open up again within a minute. I do check the Remember Me box. It didn't do that before.

Rita,
I remember you use Norton software. When this happens are you by any chance running a scan in the background? I am asking because I have Norton Internet Security 2015. Every time I run a scan, I get logged out of this forum.

Sepiana, that was what I thought happened the first few times, and expect this behavior whenever Norton is busy in the background. Didn't get around to checking it out until today. I opened, logged in, closed and opened again in under a minute, four times in a row. I was logged out every time.

Rita,
Have you tried deleting your cache and your cookies? It is possible they are corrupted and hence your login isn't retained. It could also be a browser extension causing interference - what browser are you using?

I'm using Firefox and deleted History, Cookies and so forth two days ago. It did not help.
However, I believe the Browser updated itself in some way recently. There was some notification about it that went so fast I didn't get all it said.
I may also unintentionally have introduced some change myself. Mostly, I was curious if others have the same experience, but it's not really much of a problem.

I don't know anything about Firefox but . . . can you reset its settings to their default? I use IE 11. A few times, when this browser acted up, I reset it. It worked. The only problem is that you have to go back and redo all the custom changes you had made.

The Refresh button did it. I'm back in business. Thanks Sargenta1. And thanks, Sepiana. I had never made any intentional changes to the browser, so I assume I must have hit something I didn't mean to and created the problem myself. Most likely I'll never find out what it was. Rita

Rita Rita, great news! Glad to hear it.
I don't think you did anything to cause this problem. I think browsers just seem to have a mind of their own (or something gets corrupted) and they begin to "misbehave".
