Helen, great starter image. There is a lot one can do with it.
- Applied the Minimum filter (Filter>Other) to create a sketch effect. - Ran the file through Topaz ReStyle. - Frame effect created with an action by ShutterFreaks. - Added images from PixelSquid.

Used the Stamp filter on one copy and blended with original using Saturation Blend. Then used Trace Contour Filter then Difference blend.

This is starting to remind me of HGTV......the one where they show different renovation ideas. Frank....rather than move to a new home perhaps our homeowner would be interested in down-sizing ....it took me a minute to notice all the work you had done as at first I only noticed the B/W conversion. I think the owners will be impressed. Billie Jean...thanks for telling us the filters you used to achieve your psychedelic look.....sure to catch the homeowners attention! Judy...thanks for researching the history of this old house....I have a feeling that you may have found the answer to some of those strange noises they reported.

Moto....it is fun to see how using a couple of filters can completely change the look of an image. I like the bright and cheerful look that you have given to our house!
