To share you photos on this forum, you need to have them uploaded elsewhere. Here are some ways this can be done. If you already have a site where you store your images (Flickr, a WordPress, Blogger, or other blog) - If you have a direct link to an image (of the form mywebsite.com/myimage.jpg), you can just paste or type that link into your post and the thumbnail and link should be embedded. This works for .jpg, .jpeg, and .gif files. This method will not allow you to control the size of the embedded image.
- You can post images to the forum from Flickr. Instructions are here.
If you don't have a place to upload your images
- The forum supports directly uploading images from your computer using the Upload via imgbb.com button that you will see in the upper right of the dialog box when you go to post a message. This also works for .jpg, .jpeg and .gif files. Note that .psd files cannot be uploaded. Just click the button and follow the on-screen instructions.
- You can use sites like CubeUpload. See the FAQ on CubeUpload here.
If you want an image gallery here on the forum
- Under Images and Creative Techniques, you will see a board called Individual User Galleries. Each forum member can create their own Gallery, which is just links to images hosted elsewhere. This requires you have a direct link to the image (of the form mywebsite.com/myimage.jpg).
