Thanks Rick, and all those who've worked so hard to get this forum up and running
In light of events re Elements Village over the past couple of days, and having to be taken off, how brilliant that this forum is up and running already.

It is sad that EV is now gone. I agree with every one else's sentiment... RIP EV I am so happy that Rick was able to give us enough time to get this and the other sites up and running to be able to keep the EV community alive! Thank you Rick!!!!!!!! Ain't that the truth! It was absolutely a blessing that Rick gave us the time and was able to hold EV together as long as he could. |

I'm Sad to see the site go! I couldn't get on the last couple of days. Those speaking of credit card hacked can add me to the list. I had $3000 of charges added to my card last Saturday. Why do people have to be so darn dishonest?

Was just wondering if this site could be linked from the Photo Elements Techniques site like the Elements Village site was linked under "Community"? Or is that a slippery slope left better untouched?

Actually, for the moment the link at PET still takes you to a page at EV announcing the closure & redirecting to various places, this one included.
Elements Village has closed, effective May 2015. It was a wonderful ride, but all good things must come to an end. Don't despair, however: you can find Village members and Photoshop Elements help in a number of great online communities, simply by clicking on the links below:
Elements Village Suburbs (closed Facebook community; request an invite on that page to join)
Photoshop Elements and More (forum)
Photoshop Creative (forum)
Just Art (scrapbooking website and forum)

Actually, for the moment the link at PET still takes you to a page at EV announcing the closure & redirecting to various places, this one included. Elements Village has closed, effective May 2015. It was a wonderful ride, but all good things must come to an end. Mark~ Hi Mark, No, you do not need to add any code. It is a little hard to see where you are expected to enter your response, since it is all white on white. When you click Quote to reply, the message will appear in a box, and your response is to be placed below that box. It looks like you placed your response inside the box, but it is all good; it is still understood! I bet next time there will be now problems. I will look to see if there is a way to more easily distinguish between the quote and reply areas. |
