Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else.
Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme.
You are allowed to do some photoshopping.
You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE:
This week’s challenge comes with a twist. The idea is to capture two images of the same scene, location, person, or thing, etc. The inspiration for this theme came from these images by dennis9 .

Great idea for a theme! As we have a big late winter storm approaching (thanks Texas for sending it this way!) I thought I'd take the camera on one of our local dog walks today and used two lenses for the same shot. One was an 8mm fisheye and the other a telephoto at 230mm. Taken from the same spot and roughly in the same direction. Both tweaked in LR and ON1 Effects 10 roughly the same. I was quite amazed at how different two shots of the same scene at two very different focal lengths turned out. I do prefer the first one though

Tony,
What a way to start this challenge! I love your thinking out of the box and using the eyes of two lenses. Great shots, both of them, but I favor the first one with its wide capture of the landscape and the sense of motion it conveys.
Is that a birdhouse on the tree to the left in the second image? Amazing zooming in!
BTW, we also got our share of a late winter snowstorm today. Not too bad! Just 5 to 7 inches of snow.

I went back and visited the photo I took for the shadow challenge, this time taking it from the center,(Quickly so not to be in the way of bikers turning there) still with the Iphone. It shows being on the long bridge that crosses over Alternate 19 on the Pinealles Trail. The second picture shows a view from underneath the ramp or staircase to get up (or the ramp up) to the view the first picture shows.   |

The same bridge in our local park - it is called, rather grandly, the Leoni Bridge - viewed from two different sides.

kathylee - Nice job revisiting the place you shot for the previous WP challenge. It is interesting to see the second shot showing the way to the first one.
Dennis - I really like your interpretation of One in Two, how you captured the bridge from two different sides. It takes visualizing the scene to another level. Great job!
BTW, thanks for giving me the inspiration for this theme with your entry in WPC #39!

In this image peace is expressed as the peace sign and peace symbol, hence one in two.  The Droste effect was inspired by an image by Jackie in another thread, clipart from clipartbest.com, and handmodel a friend of mine. |

Bill, beautiful images! I love all the colors and the details and the inside/outside angle. Very clever!
I don't think you need an excuse to dine at that place but . . . I am glad I provided one.
BTW, I also found an excuse to go out for sushi and sake -- got tired of looking at dilapidated buildings. |

Very original interpretation of this theme. Great thinking (and execution)! I really like how you went for a B&W image instead of the usual color image so often seen in the world of fashion. Great job! |
