I tried doing a search for Elements+ (also tried Elements +) but did not find the answer to my question. I see there is a download for each different version of Photoshop Elements. Does this mean when upgrading to a newer version of PSE I would have to also upgrade Elements+? Another question, does Elements+ do a better job of Photomerging than PSE? I am referring to both focus stacking, as well as just getting a better exposure, shown by Mike Rodriguez in THIS video at the PET site (Thank you Sepiana! I found this link here on PSE&M) although the final version of the cannon to me was quite dark in that video. It needed more tweaking which I probably would not be that great at. Thank you

Hi Inspeqtor , I have only recently started using E+, but I can at least answer your first question. Each version of PSE will have a version of E+ to go with it. At the price of E+ I am not upset about it. I can not answer your second question directly, but since E+ provides access to many features that are in Photoshop but not in PSE, if what you want is in Photoshop, there is a very good chance that E+ will make it available in PSE as well.

Just a little clarification.
Many features provided by Elements+ are in Photoshop Elements; they have not been removed by Adobe. They are in Photoshop Elements but they are "hidden". What Elements+ does is to "reveal" these features, i.e., to make them accessible to Photoshop Elements users.

I may be wrong (and someone, please, correct me if I am) but I don't think Elements+ has a Photomerge feature. Elements+ is an add-on which supplies Photoshop Elements with features which were removed from this program by Adobe or which are still inside it but are hidden. The PhotoMerge feature is well and alive in Photoshop Elements.
It is a different story with Focus Stacking. In this case, yes, Elements+ provides it. -- Focus Stacking

Hi Tom, Thank you for taking time to answer my question. I agree with you, with the price of E+ where it is, no problem at all paying for the new version with each new upgrade of PSE. I just wanted to be sure is all.
