Another week and another challenge in picking a few to highlight in our Image of the Week:
Our Honorable Mentions:
The SCOWL, srmoment - I'm not sure what this dog is doing, but the timing is great and it is a wonderfully crisp shot
Forgotten, jackscrap - Done using a Watercolor tutorial (I think this week's Creative Effects challenge). Simple subject which suits the effect and makes for a nice image.
Mandala Rising, Tpgettys - Tom has done a lot of these and this one came out really well. I also like the creative moon rising effect.
Coming Soon, dandc - I like the B&W treatment of this, as it focuses the attention on the complexity of the branches and the leading lines of the trees.
And the IOW of the week is....
Female Brown Headed Cowbird, reg - reg had few beautiful bird photos this week, but I especially like this one. I love the simplicity of the shot and the detail of the head.
