Thank you to our members who helped select this week's IOW. The images that stood out to our voters were: Los Vaqueros Countryside by dandc  light painted dahlia by deany  Braided Mandala by tpgettys  Receiving the most votes and therefore earning the title of this week's IOW was:dahlia 2 by deany  It is interesting to note the variety of images you selected. We have a beautiful black and white landscape, a light-painted flower, a Photoshop manipulated image, and an image that has been enhanced by texture! This would seem to indicate members' appreciation for traditional as well as images that have been crafted in some way by the use of Photoshop.....you can view the poll results here. |

Firstly, thank you Helen for putting this poll together, excellent idea! Secondly, thank you to all the members that took the time to view the submissions and cast their vote - without you this would not have worked!

Thanks to the members that voted, and for including one of my mandalas in your picks! This was a great idea for doing the IOW Helen, and hopefully it will return periodically. It really was a great mix of all the fine work members share here!

What an interesting selection and, as I said on another thread, I really hope Mr/Mrs Poll is recruited as a regular judge on the IOW circuit, although I do appreciate that it must have taken more than a little time and effort by Helen to set up.
Well done to all who received votes, those that made the shortlist, and most particularly to deany, a winner by a good margin and chosen by nearly half of all who voted. Many a politician would be pleased to be as popular!
