Thanks very much Sepiana for sharing this link. I have just downloaded the recipes and had a go importing the ones for Color Efex Pro 4, but noticed there doesn't seem to be an import facility on the interface. I can see a means for importing recipes into Analog Efex Pro 2, but not Color Efex Pro 4. Frustrating! Is anyone else having issues with this?

From their website (instruction link as above in Sepiana's post): Open Color Efex Pro 4 from the host application that you use (Photoshop, Lightroom or Aperture). Click "Recipes" in the left panel. At the bottom of the Recipes menu, click "Import." If "Import" is not visible, click the "Back" button first. Select the ".np" recipe files you have saved and import them. These recipes will then be located in the "Import" section.

As Craig explained, Color Efex Pro 4 uses a different method to import presets/recipes. (Thanks, Craig!) This is not an issue. I have been using the Nik Collection for a few years now since they lowered the price from $500 to $150. I have never had any problems with importing and using these presets/recipes.
As a side note -- Anyone having problems with importing these presets/recipes, please refer to the link in my original post (How to import presets and/or recipes). The step-by-step instructions also include a video.

Thanks Major and Sepiana. The issue was that the import facility did not appear on the recipes interface. I tried Major's advice to hit the back button and, lo and behold, there it was! Thanks again
