I once added RAM to my computer. I purchased it from this site -- www.crucial.com/-- which will scan your computer and suggest the appropriate/compatible RAM upgrade. You can also find the instructions how to add RAM to your specific computer model by going to the website for the manufacturer of your computer.

Firstly, Craig is correct that RAM is pretty inexpensive. But a word of warning if you are trying to install the RAM yourself......I decided to do just that a few years ago & successfully managed the first lot, but it was a hot summer's day & my hand were a bit sweaty & they are bit on the large side and it was a bit of a fiddly job and my fingers slipped as I was ever so gently pushing the RAM into place & I damaged the slot the RAM fits into In the end I had to get a new computer to get the extra RAM I so desperately needed!
