Hi daveylou, welcome to PSE&M!
Would you please give us more information? Are you on a PC or on a Mac?

Thanks!
During the installation process, did you have Elements 13 listed in the "Compatible Host Applications" dialog? Or did you have to click on the "+" sign, navigate the path to Elements 13, and add it do the list? This should have been the path.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13\Plug-Ins
Then, when you open Elements, the plug-ins will be available under Filter>Nik Collection> . . . Note: Nik Collection Selective Tool will be available under File>Automation Tools> . . .
If the installation took place correctly but you can't find the plug-ins in Elements, just follow these instructions by Nik.

Did not have to click C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13\Plug-Ins shown as path. Program starts installation when completed it says finished. Open elements and it is not listed under filters. I also do not have a listing under file automation tools. I followed all the instructions but will try one more time.

Thanks for the information! Make a fresh download from the Nik site and then go through the installation process. Hope it will work this time!

I downloaded again from Nic site everything shows as you stated but still not in elements 13. Could it be because HDR which part of the suite is not comparable with elements. I tried help from Google and Nic but that was no help.I guess that's why its free. When i go into my c/file its there and also in my download folder. No one knows why nic can't find its way to elements 13. It did install on elements 9 with no problem but I had to delete that program because my organizer got corrupt. I appreciate your help

I doubt if it has anything to do with HDR Efex Pro as I have PSE13 and didn't have any issues with the installation and the components (other than HDR Efex) finding their way into the filters section of PSE13 as plugins.

I appreciate your help I don't see how the HDR Efex plug-in could cause the problem you describe. I have used the Nik Collection since the days when it was for purchase. When I got Elements 13, I had no problems installing it in this version.
There have been many reports of the problem you are having. The usual recommendation by Nik is to make a fresh download. If this is not working, then, I sincerely don't know what to suggest. How did you try their Help? Did you send them an e-mail?
The only other thing I can think of is that the installer is installing the wrong files in Elements 13. The Nik installer is designed to install both the 32-bit and the 64-bit version of these plug-ins. It successfully installed the 32-bit version in Elements 9 (a 32-bit application). However, it looks like it didn't install the 64-bit version in Elements 13 (a 64-bit application). This could account for the plug-ins not showing up under the Filter menu.
I wonder what would happen if you manually added the path to Elements 13 (by using "+") although the path is being shown during the installation process. As far as Elements 9 is concerned -- You could reinstall it so that you could use the Nik plug-ins. You don't need to use the Organizer; all you need is the Editor module.

I thought I would share this with you all.
If you have the purchased version of the Nik Collection, the HDR Efex Pro 2 plug-in will be available in Elements. It works just fine; there is no incompatibility issue. Go figure!
