It's really nice of you to say so Janice and I do appreciate your kind words but I just need to look at the Gallery in 'Just Art' to see people who could knock me into a cocked hat when it comes to creativity and technical proficiency. Reminds me I have a long way to go in this world of digital scrapping.

BillieJean - don't get caught up with comparing your creativity to others.
Enjoy where your layouts take you and don't worry about whether you are up to "their" standards. Their standards don't matter. All that matters is that when you are done, you like what you did.
I'm noticing a very different look to scrapbooking than when I started. You can tell that just by looking back at templates from, say, 2008. The look was straight forward and now the look is artsy. It's not better to be artsy, it's just different to be artsy -- but it's great people are exploring totally different looks. I'm enjoying watching the hobby change. And I am in awe of some of the unique talent out there .
Sometimes I'm intimidated ... that's when I need to step back and appreciate my own look...
...because the joy I get from this hobby is what it is all about.
And, you know what? I have a pretty great chronicle of a lot of facets of my life because I've scrapbooked them.
Even the 'bad' layouts tell a story. LOL
