I was trying to do some complex masking in the new onOne Photo 10.5 and it kept crashing the application. I was surprised, because 10.5 was supposed to include stability fixes. I tried a few fixes with no luck, but I think I found a solution. I'm posting it here for anyone who might have similar issues.
The graphics card in my computer is going on 5 years old (an Nvidia GeForce GTS450). I swapped my graphics to the built-in Intel 4400 graphics on my new motherboard/chipset. Voila! So far - no problems.
I'm guessing that even though onOne supported GPU acceleration on the card, since it was older it had some problems. I'm thinking it is time for a new graphics card
