Google has a service that will allow you to do a search using an image as the search target! Here is their help page for this service: Reverse image searchTo use it, go to Google Images and click on the camera icon in the search bar. Upload an image to search on. Yes, this is a great, easy to use facility. You just need to drag the image from your hard drive onto the dialog box in Google Images.

TinEye is my favorite as well. This reverse image search engine is highly recommended especially if you are trying to learn if your image has been stolen or if you doubt the ownership claim concerning a given image.
Google's reverse image search is quite good as well. I first began using it back in the now-closed Elements Village forum. It does a great job with clear-cut, definite, unique images. However, when it comes to images of a more general nature, it tends to yield too many false positives. You may have to take several passes and give Google a helping hand (for example, by cropping your image) before you get accurate results. This has been the bulk of the complaints about it. Also, it looks like the accuracy of the results is dependent on the web browser you use. If you use Chrome the accuracy of the results will rise dramatically.
