Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be yours, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Perhaps it's pushing the theme to its limit, but I am unashamedly pushing the boat out with my illustration of "A wealth of hope". Let me explain. I am a lifelong devoted supporter of Crystal Palace Football Club and this year they have managed to get through to the Cup Final. Tomorrow they will be playing at Wembley against Manchester United - a wealth of glory! My home is decorated with the team colours. Hope you will all be rooting for me. Dennis

Dennis - What an original interpretation of this theme! I love your thinking out of the box, with your Wealth of Hope. Great colorful capture! And, yes, I will be rooting for your team. Go Crystal Palace!
tourerjim - Great interpretation of Wealth! I really like the perspective (angle?) in your image. Well done! As a side note -- I am intrigued you were allowed inside that plant to take a shot to fulfill this challenge. I wouldn’t be able to do it easily here in the US due to security concerns.

Mark,
Colorful interpretation of Wealth! The way you took this shot made all the difference. It leads the eyes along the shelves towards more wealth to be found. Great job!
I bet your wife has a wealth of hiding places around the house to stash her yarn. Good for her!

WHEW......made it. Have been on the lookout all week and nothing seemed to grab my attention until I saw this wealth of energy about to explode on to the track at my grandson's meet today

Thanks for this theme Sepiana ... it's definitely one that requires thought, and the interpretations have been great. I was going to take the easy rout and just shoot a photo of the closet where I keep my pads of $100 bills, but then I remembered I don't have one of those. Amatuer sport photographers are rarely compensated with a salary; compensation and reward is given in access. Over the years shooting roller derby teams from around the world I've earned what is essentially unlimited access to the sport. It didn't come easy, and I don't take it for granted for a moment, but I've got access, and I consider myself very wealthy for it. This is Angel City Derby Girls pivot, Micki Krimmel, keeping hydrated on the bench between jams at a tournament this weekend.

Helen - Great interpretation of the Wealth theme! Look at those young faces! They just exude energy, a wealth of energy. Well done!
Bill - You really did some thinking here. What an original interpretation of Wealth! I've seen your work as a sports photographer over the years. You are indeed a wealthy man with your unlimited access to shooting roller derby teams. Keep up the good work! More wealth lies ahead.
