Great magazine. Thanks for bringing it to our attention Tom and many congratulations to Tammy for having your images included. The Photoshop Artistry Course looks very interesting. I'm not a photographer and my personal interest would really be in learning more in depth the various techniques – eg; masking, layering, brushes, using textures etc; which I could use for my digi scrapbooking. Two questions... Would not being a photographer matter? Also do you HAVE to create an 'Online Portfolio' or could you just ignore that part of the course? You do not have to be a photographer...there are quite a few people using stock images. And yes, you can ignore anything you don't want to do...this is an online course that you take at your own pace...perfect for learning masking, layiering, brushes, textures and creating light. I noticed a few scrapbookers in the gallery.

Sydney, Helen and Tammy thank you for your comments and encouragement. I did notice among the testimonials for this course someone saying that the techniques were perfect for digital scrappers and I was hoping that if nothing else it would give me inspiration (which is sadly lacking at the moment) as well as learning new techniques. Thank you again ladies I think I will go ahead and take the plunge. What's life without a little plunge now and again…

I think you'll find a ton of stuff that will be useful to you. This conversation has inspired me to watch some more of the training as well. Look forward to seeing your future creations!
