Have a question for everyone - I am using photoshop cc2015 and when I try to resize for the web using export > export as changing to jpg srjb it changes the color to very much brighter then what the image should be. Does anyone else have this problem and how did you correct it? Dean

I don't have any help to offer but for those who may, I think you need to clarify your concern Dean. When I looked at your latest image, your concern was that it didn't post as bright as it looks on your computer screen. However, above it seems that your image is too bright when saved for web. Perhaps you could clarify the issue so that some help may be offered. An additional question would be if you have calibrated your monitor? Hope you get the help you are seeking.

Dean, without having all the details, I am going out on a limb here.
Do you have consistency in the color space you use? From the camera, monitor, to the Color Settings within Photoshop? For example, I use sRGB all the way across.

Sepiana, I am using pro photo RGB all the way thru. my monitor is calibrated and I can make prints with no problem. I believe I may have discovered the answer though when saving for the web on the right side I save jpeg then click on embed color profile then convert to sRGB then monitor color then 1000 px then bicubic sharper. I seems to work. Dean The first picture of twirls on my original file was more redish orange, the downsized one is more brown

Dean, glad you found the answer. Thanks for sharing!
I am curious. Have you tried without turning on "Embed Color Profile"? I wonder if it would make a difference.

Sepiana, I used to only use optimize, that was what was throwing the color off, since I started using imbedded color file it now works correctly or should I say more correctly. Dean

I am very glad to hear you have found a solution deany ! You mentioned "saving for the web"; are you using File | Save for Web... or the Save As... ? I am not sure about this, but it is possible that Save for Web... will change all colors to the nearest so-call "web-safe color", of which there are only 216 to choose from.

Dean is definitely talking about Save for Web in Photoshop CC 2015 -- File>Export>Save for Web (Legacy). I am afraid what you suggest is not happening. What Dean is experiencing is usually caused by any one of the potential "culprits" mentioned earlier in this thread. Anyway, this has been my experience using Photoshop.

Use imbedded colors definetly is what needs to be used. I have sent several photos to my cell phone and the color perfectly matches my computer screen Dean
