I have a new tower-style desktop computer on the way that is pre-loaded with a clean install of Windows 7 Professional.
There is nothing wrong with our current Windows 7 Home Premium desk-top; we just need a second unit so we don't have to share; plus, this new unit is supposed to be much more powerful, has twice the RAM, and is upgradable, whereas our current unit is not.
My question is, our Elements 7 has had several plug-ins installed, such as "WireWorm, Elements +, Virtual Photographer, etc., etc.
Is there some way that I can copy the whole mess onto a flash-drive and thus transfer and load it to the new unit in one fell swoop, or will I have to start all over again ?
I still have the box that E7 came in, plus I still have the disc; if I cannot do as I asked above, I still have that option.
Thanks.

Buckskin -
No - after you install the program you'll also have to re-install the plug-ins. Easiest way is probably to copy them onto a flash drive and install on the new computer from there.

So if I just copy the original download file of each plug-in accessory and load those into the new computer, I can then install them just the same as when I originally downloaded them off the internet, right ? Thanks.

If you are talking about plug-ins (.8bf files), yes, just copy/paste this file in the Plug-Ins folder in Elements 7.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0\Plug-Ins
In the case of a plug-in which comes with its own installer (.exe file) such as Virtual Photographer, it may be better to run the installer.
I noticed you mentioned Elements+. This is not a plug-in in the technical sense (.8bf file). I would suggest you just run the installer.

On the .exe files, I can copy them from one computer to the other and still have the "run" capability without having to download them from the internet, right ?
Thanks.

Well, so far mostly so good.
I dis-connected the ethernet/internet from the receiving computer prior to performing all of these operations; I have learned that such things always turn out much better when no one out there in the wild blue yonder knows just what you are doing.
Elements loaded straight off the original disc.
I copied all of my other programs, photo-related and not, onto a flash-drive and loaded them in a special folder in the new computer.
One-by-one, I got every feature that I have on the old computer installed and working on the new one, with one exception.
Some time ago, some kind soul on this site posted a thread with a link where one could download the full version of Perfect Effects
PPS9 for FREE, so I did.
Lately, I found that PPS now only offers a watered-down version of PPS9 for free, with all the good stuff in a paid-for version.
Once transferred to the new computer, I was hoping to still have the free full version intact; however now, when I open PPS9, I get a pop-up box that wants a license number to continue --- this with no internet connection.
I don't remember if I got a license number when I got it free, and if I did, which long ago burnt scrap of paper did I write it on.
Everything else is working fine.
On EDIT:
Well, it appears that there was a license number; I found the thread by "Inspeqtor" (I believe) and he does mention that you get a license number with the free download.
I sure hope I can find that number.

I got E+ moved and installed but missed getting the "tray menu" (the little icon that resides in lower right, down there by the clock/date) Was there something I was supposed to do to get the tray menu ? Thanks.
