Pauline - These two sketches came out really nice. I love the soft and muted colors. Great job!
Janice - Perfect match of image and the sketch effect! All elements came together to produce such a beautiful layout.

Rita,
You are most welcome! And I love your sketch with these soft colors. The edge effect you added brought this sketch effect to another level.

This is a great effect. Nice to have an action to save some work. I like the busier photos for this effect - buildings are my favorite, but this photo works for me. I also like the sketch to be darker - not necessarily colored - but darker lines (sometimes just stacking two duplicate layers on top of each other will darken it) In this case, after I darkened it, I used a layer mask to bring some of the color from the original into my sketch

Nice job with this action! Sometimes, depending on the image, I also like darker lines. I favor duplicating the B&W sketch layer, changing the blending mode to Multiply, and reducing the Opacity (if needed).

Thanks Sepiana. The new/revised action works as hoped for. Love it. Inserted a brick wall and then applied a darken blend

The addition of the notepaper really “sells” the idea of a sketch. Great job.
