Is it possible to create a shortcut to a web-page that can be pinned to the task bar ?
The reason I want to do this is so that I can pin various tutorial articles such that, when I hover the cursor over the icon, the page magically appears and disappears out of the way as soon as I move the cursor.
Such a feature would be wonderful when performing some task that requires constant referring to instructions.
Thanks.

Try this link from Microsoft for doing it under Windows 7 (which it looks like you have).

That works like a charm using IE and handy as a pocket on a trench coat. However, when I try the same trick in FireFox, instead of pinning the page to the taskbar, it removes that tab from it's current window and opens it in a new window; that is quite handy as well --- providing I can remember which does what. I haven't yet tried it in Chrome to see what it does there. Thanks so much.
