I watched Bob Gager's youtube tutorial on Mulitiplicity. I followed along, creating several layers BUT on the Youtube tutorial, all the layers were listed on the page, then he dragged an dropped each layer onto the original background, creating the final product. On my desktop I can only see each individual layer as I click on it. How to I set the page to show all the layers?
Thanks
Jerry

Hi Jerry, welcome to PSE&M!
Are you by any chance talking about this tutorial? Create a Multiplicity Effect in Photoshop Elements 13
If so, . . .
Which version of Elements are you using?
I am not sure why you are encountering this problem. Could you post a screen shot so we can check 1) the Layer stack and 2) the Photo bin?
Thanks!

Are you talking about at the beginning, where he selects the photos to use on his project? The scene where he can see all the photos. If that is what you are talking about, he is in the Organizer at that point.
He then chose the photos he wanted to use and then he opened the Editor -- and the photos appeared in the photo bin. ________________________
Do you want to see all your photos in the Editor screen?
If so, you need to be able to float all the photos - which means first setting a preference Editor> Preferences> General> Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode
Then you will be able to show all your photos in the editing screen by choosing Window> Images (then make a choice of how you want to see your images)
Editor must be in Expert Mode.

There is no need to go to Edit>Preferences>General> Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode. All you have to do is click on the Layout icon at the bottom of the screen and select the All Grid display option. I believe that's what Bob Gager does in his video (around the 10:42 mark).
NOTE: Click on image for larger size.

Cool Sepiana - I never knew that option existed. I doubt I will ever totally learn the secrets of this software. LOL I'm going off and try that right now. Thanks. ___________________
Well I tried it - I can see that being really helpful while digi-scrapping.

I would like to add some clarification for the benefit of anyone following this thread, particularly new users of Elements. We seem to have two issues going on here -- viewing and arranging.
Viewing: You have two options for viewing your images -- as tabs or in their own floating windows.
Elements uses tabs by default. If you want to view your images in their floating windows, you need to turn on this feature in Edit>Preferences>General>Allow Floating Documents in Expert Mode (Photoshop Elements Editor>Preferences>General> . . . on a Mac). Once you have done this, you will have maximum flexibility in viewing your images as you can switch back and forth between windows, tabs, or a tabs/windows combination. If you don’t turn on this option, you can only view your images in tabs.
Arranging: This is the role of the Layout button (called Arrange in earlier versions) and its menu of options. This will enable you to arrange your images when working with multiple images by selecting the arrangement appropriate for the situation (two images or more than two images).
