Some months ago, all I had was IE and my experiences in viewing/using this site were far less than stellar; aggravating to the point that I dreaded the need to visit the site.
Then, someone --- actually several someones --- convinced me to try FireFox.
FireFox cured all the problems that I was experiencing using IE and I would recommend FireFox to anyone; although I much prefer the layout, ease, and convenience of IE's "Favorites" setup over FireFox's "bookmarks."
Then, just to have a well-rounded assortment of browsers, I installed Chrome.
At least on my system and on this site, comparing Chrome's performance to the others is like comparing a 450 Big Cam II Cummins 18-speed to a 3-1/2 horse Tecumseh.
Using Chrome, "click" and response is more than immediate; the pages just fly into place.
I suggest anyone having issues with their current browser on this site to give Chrome a try.
I hope someone finds this information to be useful.
Thanks for reading.

I also ran IE for many years, until about a year and a half ago, when it would "not respond" quite frequently and became a pain in general. I briefly tried FireFox, but didn't ever get comfortable with it. I then gave Chrome a try and after a very short learning curve, settled in, and wouldn't consider anything else. When I upgraded to W10, I looked quickly at Microsoft Edge, but chose to stay with Chrome.

The only thing IE has that I wish Chrome and Firefox had is IE's excellent "favorites" saving system.
I can use Chrome and FireFox bookmarks, but I don't like them nearly so well.

Actually, I've found that with Chrome, once you've entered a site in bookmarks, at a later date when you wish to open that site, go to a blank tab and simply start typing the name of the website, and it will appear in a list, and simply click on it to open! It took a little getting used to, but now I find it quicker than looking up the "favourites"

I haven't used IE in many years, since Firefox came out; but have now been a user of Chrome since IT came out. I use it on my PC and my Mac, and haven't had any issues.
