Friend of mine is a photographer & would like to venture into PSE, I suggested PSE15 & may not be to far off, can anyone confirm if there's a date, he's in no immediate rush which is why I suggested PSE15 as he was reading up on PSE14.

The latest version is Elements 14 and the new yearly version is not expected before september/october. Changes from version to version are generally marginal in my opinion; I would consider using the 30 days trial for PSE14 now.

Using the free trial is an excellent suggestion. It is a great way to try before you buy..

I've not done it myself, but I believe that if you buy the prior version within a short timeframe before the next release, you get a free upgrade. I'm sure Sepiana knows the answer.

If Adobe has not changed its policy, I believe the timeframe for a complimentary upgrade is about 30 days. I knew you would have the answer!
