With the July 4th celebrations coming up, I thought I would share this article. From personal experience, I have found f8 to work well. I also like to use bulb mode and hold the shutter button down for as long as I think I need to capture a good shot. This takes some practice but I have found it to work best for me. I also saw a tip to cover your lens with a dark card and leave the shutter open until the next burst to capture more than one burst in a shot. I live in a high rise condo, so I have a good vantage point. It's taken me a couple of years but I was happy with the shots I got last year. Hope this might help some of you who are wanting to capture some fireworks. If other members have pictures or tips they'd like to share, please add on to this post.
