I felt this image needed an old iron foot bridge so that I can enjoy the view

Thanks Helen for starting us with a great image to play with. I started with the breaking waves preset in Topaz Impression. I then used the colour contrast preset in Nik Colour Efex 4 followed by the Teal Skies and Setting Sun preset in Topaz restyle. I used control points and small tweaks in the various presets to achieve the final effect as shown here. Click on image for better view.

Sydney.....thanks for telling us all the plug-ins you used to create your effect. I like how the clouds are reflected in the water.....much better than the muddy tones in the original!

Tom.....very clever.....nice sky reflection. At first I didn't see the bird who had landed on the pig!

Texture BG from Texturepalace Embellishments from kits Oceana by Algera Designs, Sea Adventure by Boutique LouseL, Ocean Dreams from Coolscrapsdigital, Symphony of the Sea by Pat's Scrap. I followed a tutorial by Karen Brockney on Selections Using the Threshold Adjustment Layer and then used the Saturation Blend Mode to get the final result.

Lillias.....quite fanciful! I especially like the birds in the sky and the inclusion of the dock.....and then there's that mermaid hiding in the grasses....fun!

Jim....you are so good at composites! Well done! Thanks Helen, I often help friends with there web site images & being creative with the composites helps to keep my imaginative mind active, I also bring images to life that our grandchildren can only dream off, they tell me the dream they had then take a picture of them in action, then edit the action into the final image. Samples: waving from air balloon, kite flying, riding on back of a duck on the pond, swinging between two gigantic trees, driving cars, list is just endless, every time we visit we get a list of dreams.

- Used a photo I had taken on Laguna Beach, CA to create the composite effect. - Applied the Hand Tint Pro plug-in. - Created the vertical photo panels effect.
