help the crop tool has disappeared from the toolbox in pse10

Hi jobob, welcome to PSE&M!
I am not sure what happened but . . .
What do you see in the place of the Crop tool? Do you see the Recompose tool? If so, both tools share the same shortcut. Just press C to bring up the Crop tool. You can also right-click on the tiny black triangle on the lower-right side of the tool's icon. This will enable you to see the tools which are nested together.
