This little guy was up on our deck, looking in at me. I thought that by the time I got my camera out of my case, switched lenses, and got in place to take a photo that he'd be long gone, but there he still was, so I snapped away. Sony a6000, intelligent auto, 55-210mm.

Perhaps he wanted the chance to be a model.
He is photogenic.

Nice hard-to-get shot !
It is indeed hard to capture a chipmunk ... I started to say on film, but that is not quite right anymore.....; those little devils are QUICK; they are much quicker than a house mouse and they are plenty quick.
A local area nature-center/ranger-station has an area privacy-fenced from outside viewing, but with a huge picture-window that you can see through from inside the building; maybe the glass is one-way, I do not know.
Anyways, within this enclosure are various bird feeders and bird houses, and a man-made creek with waterfalls and pools,.......... and a resident chipmunk that must be on the payroll; he/she never quits doing silly stunts and is a genuine entertainer.

Great shot. I have one of these critters building a home under my side walk. Wish I could capture him and his family.
