Using PSE11, and 8.5 x 11 paper. I want to create a 2-fold brochure and am wondering if anyone has a way of marking out the folds on the screen that will either disappear in the printing or I can remove when I'm done and ready to print. I know the folds will occur at 3.66666 inches but it's awfully difficult to see that precisely on the Elements ruler. I hope this is clear and your suggestions will be deeply appreciated. (I've been struggling with this for awhile.)

Go to www.avery.com and download the template for 16152. All of the templates from this company have worked in WORD for me. They have some for Photoshop as well. Then. import the graphics which you have enhanced previously in Photoshop Elements, and arrange to suit.

Thanks Ken, I will got to avery.com and check them out. In the meantime, I've just discovered the View > Guide command which solves my problem. I feel stupid but happy.

In the meantime, I've just discovered the View > Guide command which solves my problem. Hi haliburton,
You are ahead of the game! I was about to post you could use the Guide feature in Elements 11. No need for a third-party template.

I've just discovered the View > Guide command which solves my problem. I feel stupid but happy. Also, you can change the units on the rulers to percent, which may make it easier to locate the divisions you want.

Guides is the first thing I thought of, too. Good luck with your project.

Interesting. I buy the paper stock and avail myself of the templates. Different ways (options) to do things with PSE.

Yes, that's right -- different ways to do something with Elements. I have done it both ways -- using Guides and using purchased templates. However, why not take advantage of the Guides feature (which was introduced in Elements 8)? You paid for it when you got Elements.
And for new users of Elements . . . here is the Guides feature in action.

I've just discovered the View > Guide command which solves my problem. Just to be clear, if you go to View | New Guide, you can position a guide precisely where you want it, and in the orientation you want: If your rulers are set to percent, your guides will be positioned as a percent.
