I had downloaded a year of PET magazines. Just went to my folder in Microsoft Word, and it is empty. Does that mean when the site closed on August 6 everything went?  ? I am so frustrated. |

Jean,
The closure of the PET site (or any other site for that matter) would affect only their online content. It would have had no effect on anything you downloaded to your computer. Did you download the PDF files of the magazine issues or did you just copy/paste the links to the issues onto a Word document?

I thought I had downloaded the PDF files. But now the folder is empty? What a shame. Are they on file anywhere else? Jean

Do a full disk search for PET, you probably put them someplace else on the computer and didn't realize it.
