Thanks for posting this link.
There are more than enough to keep anyone occupied on a'bad' day.
Must sat that a few are very frustrating as I can't work out - at first glance - how there were made. But when our (hopefully) imminent house move is complete I'll try to have a go at some of them:).

I had the same thoughts as elines regarding not being able to work out how an image was a photograph - assuming they are all photographs and not something 'photoshopped'. If anyone has the time/inclination to 'explain' the images, I'd love to hear The images I could see how were photos were very impressive to me. I'll have to try taking some photos (with my little compact 'point & shoot' camera)

Well I am glad you are all finding the article and the photos interesting and inspiring.
I have wanted to create some paper abstracts, but have never gotten round to it, but given that this week's forecast is for rain, I might have the perfect excuse to give this a try.

Yes - having had a think about some of them I have a general idea of how some have been done but I doubt I could give detailed instructions:(

Julie, Which images are you struggling with? Bayla Thanks for your question, Bayla. If these images are 'photographs', I'm certainly out of my depth. Perhaps I've taken the words 'Abstract Photography' too literally? I'm still a relative novice with Photoshop (Elements) too! I do like to learn how such lovely images are created. I'll comment as I work through the images, if I may? The first image, I assume is a photo of some coloured balls. The 'bubble' effect is presumably a texture layer, or something, from Photoshop? 2nd image is presumably a photo of a section of a flower, or a leaf? With reflection, water drops brought in from somewhere? How to get the effect of the ripple and dip in the water? 3rd - could be a photo of paper/card folded and interleaved, or very clever Photoshop-ing? 5th - Is that very clever photography (macro) or ... what? Maybe someone has 'drawn' it in Photohsop? 6th, 7th, 8th - have to be 'created', surely, rather than photos? 9th - clearly shows a leaf so presumably originates as a photo? Too many to continue ... I really love them but, as for how to create them, I really can't see where/what they originate from. Definitely, some of them are clearer, such as the spaghetti ends (well, that's what it looks like to me ). I think I have just soo much to learn! It all fascinates me so much and frustrates me that I can't 'work them out', if you see what I mean. So sorry for being so ignorant regarding photography and stuff. J

The 'jumping colours' is - I think - oil paints or similar on a plate/in an aquarium which is put on a loudspeaker and then rock music ? played to cause vibrations. Something like that anyway.

Well, having had a look at the video you gave the link for, I'm absolutely AWE-STRUCK !!! What an amazing concept - my mind is boggling now. I'll take another look at the photographs and see what information I can get, possibly from checking out the photographer's websites where possible. Thank you so so much for posting your links, Sepiana Elines, I also much appreciate your suggestion. Wow! I'd never have guessed these were possible Thank you, again
