Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo this week that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. This challenge is all about getting you out there (or inside) with your camera and shooting something you perhaps wouldn't normally photograph. Have some fun experimenting!
The rules are simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping.
NOTE:
The idea is to get up close to your subject and fill as much of the frame as possible with it. If the circumstances don’t allow you to get that close to it, put your camera to work. Zoom in! Fill the frame!

Frank - That's a scary sight. Hope you had a long zoom. Be careful out there.

This Praying Mantis flew off a trash can then ran up my leg (that was a bit too close and personal). After being swatted to the ground, he posed for a photograph.

While on my walk this morning... Frank,
WOW! Amazing shot! Hopefully you did a zooming-in job instead of getting up close & personal with that snake.

Great thinking out of the box and a really nice shot to go with it! I really like the way you composed it.

I couldn't resist getting up close & personal with this kitten. Luckily, this past Monday turned up to be one of those scorching summer days. This means she was not moving around too much.

At the same location as the above. They also have spiders, snakes etc.

Another animal from me - woke up this duck while walking along a lake yesterday. They are so used to humans here that they don't bother to move when they are comfortable so I had to walk round it and of course grab a picture! Tony

Thank for the concern and comments.
The Image was taken with a 35mm lens and the subject was found along the side of the road dead so I was not in any danger.
