I'm a keen enthusiast who wants to improve my camera skills to produce better images. So I'm hoping that this forum will help me with PSE at least to correct mistakes and turn any disappointing shots into usable images. So I'll be posting lots of questions soon !!

Welcome to the forum Richard.
I've been a photographer for many years now (hobby) & interestingly improving camera skills is a photographer preparing for the shot, then when I download the image to my pc I then find I'm disappointed with my image.
Elements
There are many areas in Elements that can correct a lot of camera mistakes but with any image editing software it has its limitations, however Elements is still a powerful tool with editing images & well worth a visit to the members gallery/latest post.
