Where, pray tell, is my Print Screen button ? Check the top row of keys on your keyboard. There should be a PrtScn key.

Once you have captured your screenshot, just go to File>New>Image from Clipboard. Your screen shot will open in the workspace in Elements. You can resize, it, crop it, etc. Then, save your file using Save for Web.

I have no idea what a ScriptListener.8li is, nor what it does.
I believe it is a plug-in. It is my understanding that this plug-in is designed to record events in Photoshop to enable you to use that information when you record/construct scripts. I have no hands-on experience with scripting. Hopefully, I will know more about it soon. I am taking a class on Photoshop and the subject of scripting will be covered (including scripting homework). Andrei, the creator of Elements+, will be more qualified to talk about this plug-in.
If you are interested, . . .

I am taking a class on Photoshop I bet that is interesting; is it a physical you actually attend type of class, or is it online ? Thanks, everyone, for making me aware of what that tiny PrtScn key is for; I am gonna have to play around with that and get it figured out. About 2/3 of the keys on here I have no idea whatsoever what they are for. When I read "Print Screen button", I was looking around on the screen and in the tools to see if it was there; I would never have thought to find it on the keyboard.

Lucky you !!! Although I am as close to a city as I want to be, I sure miss out on a lot of things by being so rural located; the only classes anywhere around here are for such things as how to use herbicides and how to identify blank shank and blue mold on tobacco. I did get to go to a "How to vaccinate your cattle" class and the vaccine company fed us all a steak dinner. We did have some guy giving concealed weapons classes, but the powers that be put him in jail and confiscated everyone's conceal carry permits that had taken his classes; fortunately, I was not one of them.

LOL - I get that; if us old schoolers stick together we can maybe get across the street without getting run over! One detail about using the Print Screen button: if you press it by itself, the entire monitor image is copied to the clipboard; if you press Alt-Print Screen only the active window is copied to the clipboard. To surgically cut out any part of the screen image use the Snipping Tool; I think it is well worth the effort in knowing how to use it.

I am beginning to become quite handy with the Windows snipping tool; and, my version of FastStone has an excellent screen capture tool with all sorts of bells and whistles. Those, coupled with this PrtScn button that I just found out about, should handle most of my screen capture needs once I get the hang of them.

I could not get the results to cooperate with taking a screen capture; as, whenever I clicked anything, the menu would disappear; so, hopefully I can explain it without pictures. Buckskin To capture a context menu using Windows Snipping Tool 1. Open the snipping tool and click Cancel or Escape 2. Put your context menu onscreen 3. Press Ctrl+PrintScr and that will be you in grabbing mode to get your Snip. Thanks; I am going to practice that.
