Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo this week that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. This challenge is all about getting you out there (or inside) with your camera and shooting something you perhaps wouldn't normally photograph. Have some fun experimenting!
The rules are simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else.
Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme.
You are allowed to do some photoshopping.
NOTE: A link to a synopsis of the book whose tittle is being interpreted by your image will be appreciated. Happy Shooting and Happy Reading!

I was helping a friend with a sewing project today and realized if I could find a book about a seamstress I could use this picture for this week's theme. I actually read this book a few years ago but had forgotten all about it.

Thanks for the theme Sepiana. The book title is Barbed Wire in the Sunset, the WWII memoir of an Australian soldier held as a POW in Libya and Italy.  |

I have just started reading The silver collection, a book of short stories by Carole Matthews. HEREI went to a nearby market this morning. Silver Street runs off the High Street. I added a collection of shops in that street.  |

I have been so busy this week, and I photographed my first event last night, then spent all morning editing the photos, but I finally had time to get this one done. I'm a BIG Stephen King fan.... this one is The Cell. I used a stained glass texture on the phone, then added some "blood smears" using a brush.  |

Have to admit I did this backwards as we were in Niagara this week and took lots of pics including, of course, The Falls and a quick Google search turned up several books called Waterfall none of which I'd read or likely ever will as the first one I looked at wasn't quite my style  but it was a beautiful day and the falls were as spectacular as ever (and not too many people obscuring the view)  Tony |

tonyw ....going to Niagra Falls in a couple of weeks.....any suggestions as to where to go? We were on the Canadian side and can highly recommend the Butterfly Conservatory as we aren't into boats under or zip lines over the falls and we had visitors from the UK who really enjoyed it. Just walking along the falls with cameras was enough for us and free once you'd paid for parking! Also a drive up the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake is a must and you can spend a lot of time touring and sampling the wineries (I was the designated driver but I am told the tastings were most enjoyable) Tony |

(Not copying tonyw- honestly.) Papillon. Henri Charriére. HEREThe butterflys on the branch sit on my desk. I took the photo today. I got the barbed wire from a free clipart site. I found the book picture after I had done mine.  |
