I really was not sure just where this question fit so here it is. I just got a pop-up message better explained in the screenshot below: Do I need these E12 updates bad enough to have that Adobe application manager mess in my system ? The application manager was not checked at first; but, when I clicked on it to see what it was, it checked itself and will not let me uncheck it. What are you guys thoughts ? Thanks for reading. On a side note, I have been rid of Java on all four of our computers for months and this is the first time I have noticed the lack of it; when I click "preview", nothing happens and the bottom-left corner says javascript:void(0)

The AAM (Adobe application manager) is necessary when you want to upgrade, for instance from version 12,0 to 12,1. Failing to update will prevent you from upgrading or even bring annoying repetitive messages to upgrade...
